Apps, Agents, and the future of WOO

Where WOO is heading in the second half of 2026: high level vision, apps and agents, and how the ecosystem compounds around onchain liquidity.

Apps, Agents, and the future of WOO

A brief overview of the current direction as WOO navigates the second half of Q3, 2026.

High level vision:

With technology advancing at an exponential pace, WOO has continued to evolve. Tech users are shifting from operating a set of apps and tools, to directing a personalized intelligence layer. Complex UIs are being replaced by simple native language interfaces, making many of the tools of the previous decade obsolete.

With this in mind, WOO is positioning on a few fronts:

  1. Agents: Starchild agents can be launched in seconds with zero coding or technical ability required, giving users total control of their workflows and tasks

  2. Intelligence: Conductor Mode gives agents or applications access to the most efficient LLM based on the complexity of the task, improving the cost and performance.

  3. Crypto and RWAs: WOOFi Swap and Pro provides agent-friendly liquidity for mainstream assets, accruing fees for WOO stakers

Starchild can become a complete operating system for users who want to build or invest with AI and agentic tools, a market which should expand to a majority of the world’s population over the next few years.

Token overview:

WOO has a mature supply without any existing deals or vesting for insiders or investors.

The Foundation oversees a treasury of roughly 221m WOO (11.72% of supply) but is not actively utilizing that portion for growth.

The aim is to further reduce supply over time, via stronger revenue flows, allowing WOO and Starchild products to have a stronger deflationary impact.

Upcoming changes to WOO

WOO is an ownerless structure governed by the token, meaning there are no equity stakeholders to conflict with tokenholders. This structure includes the IP of both WOOFi and Starchild.

In 2026, there were a few proposals shared to the community regarding rebrands or token swaps, but at the current time, the priority is still focusing on growth of products and revenues as that gives the best chance at sustainable awareness and bolstering demand for WOO.

That said, maintaining multiple branding schemes is a challenge for a lean team, so the social content, colors, typography, and brand elements are in the process of synchronizing between WOOFi, WOO, and Starchild. This will give WOO a stronger connection within Starchild, as additional utilities are explored and implemented.

WOO product map

The core team remains fully committed to the overall growth of WOO - currently sitting around 20-30 full-time members. Around 40% of those are focused on the technical development, with another 40% representing the growth side, and the rest focused on back office and operations.

What upcoming catalysts for growth are there in Q3?

Here are some key features we are working on for each product:

Starchild:

  • Conductor Mode: Improving the escalation and delegation process, adding support for more models, and allowing any third-party agent or application to integrate

  • Sign on with Starchild (SSO): Allows any application to add agentic features

  • Applications: Connect your desktop, mobile, or browser to your agent for even more control

  • UX overhaul: A reduction of unnecessary features to make onboarding smoother and easier

  • UI refresh: Trade RWAs directly from WOOFi

  • AI tools: Better integration of agentic modules into the UI for both spot and perps
